Forecast: calling for a whiteout

unr whiteoutThere is a storm brewing for tonight’s game and the official weather forecast is calling for a whiteout.

This special offer is targeted to the first Wolf Pack men’s game of the tournament scheduled for today at 6:00 p.m. All fans that purchase a ticket or already have a ticket to that game can pick up a free WAC Whiteout t-shirt.  Fans can bring their tickets to Fuddruckers in Sparks or Silver and Blue Outfitters at Meadowood Mall in Reno to receive their free shirt to wear to the tournament.

“We realize how tough the last several months have been for the local region weathering the economic downturn, said University of Nevada Athletic Director Cary Groth. “The WAC tournament is a chance for the community to rally together and celebrate our pride.  We think the printing on the shirts say it all, One Community, One Pack!”

“It was a competitive process to secure the WAC Tournament for the last two years and we want to ensure that all fans traveling to the region have a great experience”, said RSCVA President and CEO Ellen Oppenheim. “Still we want to ensure that the Wolf Pack enjoy a true home court advantage.  Nothing says that better than a packed-full Lawlor Events center with loud fans wearing white t-shirts.”

Quantities of the WAC Whiteout t-shirts are limited.  In addition to Fuddruckers and Silver and Blue Outfitters, Cub Country will be hosting a remote at the University student Union before the game and shirts will be available there from 4-6 while supplies last.

A variety of ticket options are available for fans wanting to attend the 2010 WAC Tournament.  These include; all session passes, providing a ticket to every game of the tournament; single session passes, which include two games in each session; to the Nevada 3-Pack which guarantees the same great seat for all Wolf Pack games through the championships.  WAC Tournament ticket prices are as affordable as $15 for women’s single sessions and $25 for men’s single sessions.  A variety of special discounts are also available.  Please visit www.nevadawolfpack.com/wac.
