The 2014 Hydro-Turf Pro Watercross Tour to Make a Splash (Or Two) at Sparks Marina

Starting at 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 28, the Pro Watercross Tour will be providing a weekend full of screaming engines and strong wakes at the Sparks Marina. Deemed as the “NASCAR of Watercross,” this high-adrenaline sport will leave spectators screaming as racers reach top speeds of 90 mph while racing around buoyed courses!

sparks_1The US Open of Watercross is the third stop on the Hydro-Turf Pro Watercross Tour. Top USA and International competitors and race teams will be in attendance.  These riders will utilize some of the most advanced equipment and technology, and engage in a fierce battle of skill, technology and innovation on and off the water.

When the race is set, heavily modified watercrafts and their daring drivers will wait anxiously in the side-by-side gates. Upon command, the half-machine/half-man cyborgs will jolt to life as the opening gates release the racers to scream past the crowd at racing speeds of up to 90 miles per hour. High adrenaline leave the ringing memory of a great experience in your ear.

Witness the potential for history to be made on June 28, as the title for Guinness World Records “Most Consecutive Back Flips on a Personal Watercraft” will be attempted.  This trick-filled day will surely leave any age in awe.
