The Kraken from Dorindas Chocolates

Satisfy Mom’s sweet tooth! It would be a good idea to swing by Dorinda’s Chocolates as you go by the beautiful Truckee River. The location alone is a great reason to walk inside. It is at 727 Riverside Drive, right behind the Lear Theater, and right next to Hub Coffee Roasters. You do not want to pass up a taste of the kraken, a handmade hazelnut praline truffle covered in dark chocolate. With its pastel floral accents, this is one of the prettiest chocolates in town.

Constant Coffee

Give mom the gift of silky-smooth, deliciously nuanced, small-batch roasted coffee—all year long. Show your eternal thanks with a subscription to Wood-Fire Roasted Coffee. Three, six, or 12 months of award-winning coffee bliss, delivered right to the door.

The Wood-Fire Roasted Coffee Company in Reno, located right next to the Grand Sierra Resort, imports the finest coffee beans and roasts them over an oak wood fire.
