Naughty Gras 2013 – Silver Legacy Resort Casino

You don’t to need be on Bourbon St. to have a naughty good time for Mardi Gras this year. Join the Silver Legacy Resort Casino for Naughty Gras 2013 on February 9, where you will dance the night away to the sounds of DJ KOS while sipping jazzy drink specials inspired by The Big Easy. Make sure to spice up your outfit as thousands of dollars in cash prizes will be given out for the most erotic costumes. The party starts at 9 pm in the Grande Exposition Hall. Tickets are $20 in advance, $30 at the door and $35 for the VIP Jester’s Lounge.

Stay the weekend at a special nightly rate of $59.99 on Friday and Saturday when you use reservation code “NAUGHTY”.

Parti Gras – John Ascuaga’s Nugget

Don’t miss the three-day Mardi Gras celebration at John Ascuaga’s Nugget, kicking off with a concert by New Orleans legend and five-time Grammy winner Dr. John on Friday, February 15 at 9 pm. The festivities continue with free concerts by Mumbo Gumbo on Saturday, February 16, and Andre Thierry & Zydeco Magic on Sunday, February 17, both starting at 9 pm. Before the Sunday concert, be sure to catch the Parti Gras casino parade with showgirls, free hats and beads, Mardi Gras face art and much more. And of course, grab a Hurricane for $4.99 and keep the glass!

Enjoy the tastes of NOLA at the Rotisserie Buffet featuring all-you-can-eat favorites, such as dirty rice and jambalaya, along with Louisiana style specials in all Nugget restaurants.

Fat Tuesday Party – The Brew Brothers

Free beads, an open bar and hot beats. You’ll find it all at the Fat Tuesday Party, February 12, at The Brew Brothers located inside the Eldorado Hotel Casino. Enjoy a $10 open premium bar from 9:30  – 11:30 pm while DJ Chris English spins today’s top tracks into the early morning hours.

Mardi Crawl – Squaw Valley

For a Fat Tuesday celebration at slightly higher elevation, join the Mardi Crawl, February 12, at Squaw Valley. From 2-7 pm, hop from bar to bar with fellow beaded patrons while taking advantage of food and drink specials. And to top it all off, a live band will accompany the party to each stop!

Reno Fun Train

Hop aboard the Reno Fun Train, February 8-10, for a Mardi Gras experience like no other. Fat Tuesday Mardi CrawlCelebrate Parti Gras – The New Giant Mardi Gras Celebration

February 17 – 21, at John Ascuaga’s Nugget

This five-day massive celebration includes free concerts, Parti Gras casino parades, showgirls, free hats & beads, Mardi Gras face art and caricature artists.  John’s Club players can win their share of $20,000 throughout Parti Gras with hot seat giveaways, cash drawings and trips for two to New Orleans.  Plus, the Rotisserie Buffet will take on the “N’awlins” theme for the weekend with favorites like dirty rice and jambalaya.  There will be New Orleans style food specials in all of the Nugget’s restaurants as well.

The 2010 Mardi Gras Food and Wine Tasting is Feb. 16 at the Reno Ballroom.  Indulge in diverse wines, delicious delicacies and decadent desserts from the area’s finest restaurants.  Proceeds from this divine event benefit local programs committed to helping educate and train youth and improve the quality of life in our community.
