Party like it’s Elvis’ birthday!
There is one heck of a party planned to celebrate the man that made the biggest mark of all time on Rock ‘n’ Roll!
Saturday, January 5th, Silver Legacy, Eldorado, Harrah’s and Circus Circus in downtown Reno will celebrate the King’s Birthday at 12 venues. The Elvis Suits & Showgirls Pub Crawl begins at 7:30 p.m. Simply pick up your commemorative cup for just $5 at any participating bar and start crawlin’! Show up in your hottest Elvis garb or show off those gams in a showgirl costume. Everywhere you go, there is a great themed party and drink specials waiting for you.
Hang at Aura Lounge for the Elvis Karaoke contest starting at 9 p.m. Put on you “Blue Suede Shoes” and perform your favorite Elvis tune for prizes. At Silver Baron’s Lounge both Friday and Saturday evening starting at 8:00 p.m., Elvis impersonator, Johnny Baron as Elvis, will be performing. And back by popular demand on Saturday is “Little Elvis” and “Little Marilyn!” And at Rum Bullions Island Bar, enter an Elvis Costume contest on Saturday at 10 p.m. for great prizes!

The annual holiday tree lighting will be Tuesday, November 26 at 5pm followed by the opening of Rink on the River.
This fun and magical event features musical entertainment and a much anticipated countdown of the tree lighting with City Council members to kick off the holiday season in downtown Reno. The tree is at the corner of S. Virginia and First Streets, next to the Rink on the River. Billinghurst Middle School Choir will sing holiday carols starting at 5 pm.

DANCE at 7:00 PM
When the Reno Zombie Crawl began, we traditionally took a break midway through the event to dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. What began as a fun dance has now become its own event, as Thriller Under The Arch attracts hundreds of dancers and participants to the Historic Reno Arch! This event is all-ages and free, and this year we’re looking for 1,000 dancers to break our previous record! Get info and learn to dance here >>
CRAWL at 8:00 PM
The main event begins at 8:00 pm at different locations in downtown Reno!
- Cups are on sale at Junkee Clothing Exchange and other locations, and will be available the night of the crawl too.
- Locations: 45-50 different local taverns will participate!
- $3 beer and drink specials at every location with your crawl cup!
- NO COVER at any participating bar or club for any participant with a crawl cup!
- Every single venue will hold at least one costume contest during the crawl! All you need to enter is a crawl cup!
- Discount hotel rooms are available downtown for crawlers!
