Memorial Day Fun in Reno Tahoe
Memorial Day weekend marks the official kick off to summer in Reno Tahoe, and with it comes three days packed with outdoors adventures, great shopping, big laughs and for the first time, crawling cowboys!
Fun in the Sun
The temperature is forecast to reach the 80’s by Memorial Day so take full advantage of the warm weather and dive into the many adventures awaiting you in Reno Tahoe. Lace up your hiking boots and discover the countless miles of beautiful trails that surround our area. Cast your line at Pyramid Lake and see if you can hook a world-renown Lahontan Cutthroat Trout. Or, make a big splash with the whole family at the Wild Island Waterpark where everyone will enjoy daring slides, the Bahama Mama River, Montego Bay Wave Pool and much more.
Adventures at Lake Tahoe
Celebrate the 6th annual Opening Day at the Lake with a bike ride on North Lake Tahoe’s paved bike trails, which have been clear of snow and re-opened for summer. Also, enjoy special shopping and dining deals around North Lake Tahoe from Thursday, May 24 through Thursday, May 31.
The fun continues at the Lake where the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort Spa and Casino recently opened the Pier 111 Bar, offering creative cocktails, light meals and breath taking views – all on 275 foot floating pier!
