Spring Break Brewery Tour
Remember how much fun it was to wake up on Easter morning, grab your basket and hunt for brightly colored eggs your parents meticulously hid around the yard? Well it’s time to relive that excitement in a more adult manner- with beer! While enjoying your spring break in Reno Tahoe USA, hunt down each of these breweries and discover all the frothy flavors the region has to offer.

With three locations throughout Reno, each with its own delicious menu and distinctive atmosphere, Silver Peak offers a wide variety of microbrews ranging from the light XXX Blonde to the dark-as-chocolate Peavine Porter. The outstanding flavor doesn’t end with the beer though. Be sure to check out their menu, including their famous salmon fish and chips.
Recently dubbed the “Best Brewery” on Metromix Reno’s Best Of 2013 list, Great Basin is a staple in the local brewery scene. With a flight of brew master specials and four flagship beers always on tap, including the multiple award-winning Icky IPA (named after our state fossil, the Ichthyosaurs), you’ll find a brew that’s perfect for you at any of the three locations.
Fresh, exciting and unique, The Brewer’s Cabinet is a nano-brewpub crafting one-of-a-kind beers you won’t find anywhere else. Their small batch brewing system gives their brewers the freedom to create the beers they want without the pressure of following current trends or popular fads. And to complement their in-house infusions, you’ll also find specialty guest drafts and bottles, as well as a rich menu that pairs perfectly with their pints.
The Brasserie stands behind the notion of making beers for all palates, and they definitely meet this standard by offering a vast selection of perfectly crafted brews with high quality ingredients. Located in the historic Crystal Springs building, the rooftop patio provides a perfect setting to enjoy top quality beer in the warm spring sun.
The Brew Brothers is where great beer and exciting nightlife collide. Named “Best Brewpub in America” by Nightclub & Bar Magazine, The Brew Brothers offers eight custom microbrews, an inciting menu and award-winning live entertainment.
