Have you ever wondered about the historical significance of Reno’s fabulous Riverwalk district? Ever see a really old looking building on Virginia Street and wonder what it used to be? Are you interested in the history of trains and transportation in the 1800s? Now anyone with a smartphone has the opportunity to travel through time thanks to the many people who worked on the Reno Historical smartphone app. Reno just turned 168, and in the past 168 years, a lot of hard work was put into developing the Biggest Little City into the fantastic location it is today. Now tourists and locals have the opportunity to cherish all that hard work with a simple smartphone app.
The brand new Reno Historical app for iPhone and Android allows you to walk the footsteps of Reno’s founders right on your smart phone! Using GPS, the app pinpoints historic locations, virtual tours of different areas in the city, and stories about the people who were integral in Reno history.
