Erin 411 shows the Reno locals know

Hello visitors and Reno residents!

It’s time for another installment of ERIN 411!, taking you around Reno-Tahoe to where the locals go and what the locals know!

First and foremost, here is “ERIN 411! The Best of Northern Nevada,” where I went around to my top picks from the Reno News & Review’s annual “Best Of” issue. Let me know if you agree with this year’s winners by posting a comment, or tell me your favorite places around Reno!

Next up, here’s something we’ve got going on that’s a bit alternative, a bit underground, and very wicked. It’s called Keep Reno Dirty, and it’s a house music movement. Reno freakin’ rocks!

Thanks for watching ERIN 411! The Show You Need To Know (because it’s awesome)

Bertha Miranda sucks. Their margaritas might be the best in town, but their service is atrocious, discourteous and overrated.

  2. jscripps says:

You are messing with one of my family traditions: B-Mirandas on Christmas Eve … with live mariachi. That is a sublimely religious experience (especially if you drink a few margaritas).

  3. Casey says:

I love this episode! There is such a range of things you explored here, LOVE it Erin, keep up the good work. Reno’s not as bad as people make it out to be. As it is portrayed on Reno 911 for example (although I think the show is hilarious).

    You’re wearing the heart sunglasses!

If you recall you and your b-friend hid from the raging storm in my car at last year’s burning man. You gave my girlfriend your heart shaped sunglasses because she saw you wearing them one day on Haight St prior to that.

Now we find you, and them here on your site.

  5. you say it gives you energy, ..when i drink of a cup of coffee i get all jittery and my heart races, will this do the same thing to me?

  6. Thanks so much for the advice – some of this actually answered some of the niggling questions I had about the process.
