Jim Scripps works for the Reno-Sparks Convention and Visitors Authority in the marketing department. A former newspaper and magazine writer and editor, when Jim is not working, he enjoys mountain biking, skiing, fishing, hiking and photography. Jim is a Bay Area expatriate who lives in Reno with his wife and two children.
Erin Zelenski is a recent graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno Reynolds School of Journalism. When she isn’t running, dancing or spending time outdoors, she enjoys the nightlife and cultural attractions of downtown Reno.
Erin Granat is the star and brains behind “Reno 411,” a v-blog produced in partnership with Reno-Tahoe, America’s Adventure Place. A recent graduate of the University of Nevada, Reno, Erin is an avid traveler and outdoor enthusiast.
Mike Henderson is a local writer, photographer and adventurer. He spends as much time as possible biking, skiing and hiking the peaks, trails, roads, and backcountry of Reno, Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada. He works at Twelve Horses North America, and writes about his adventures in RLife Magazine, and The Bacon Strip.
Tele Girl loves to ski (yes – backcountry telemarking!), hike, backpack, bike, swim, play beach volleyball and enjoy endless outdoor opportunities in America’s Adventure Place. The Argentina native is married to an “almost” Nevada native. The couple have two children. In her not-so-free time she works for Twelve Horses North America.
Rich Moreno is a featured writer of the Reno-Tahoe Blog. Richard is former publisher of Nevada Magazine, and author of seven books, including Endless Nevada; Roadside History of Nevada; The Nevada Trivia Book, and Backyard Travels in Northern Nevada. Richard enjoys outdoor adventures in the Sierra Nevada as much as he can.
Adventure Grrl was the initiator and moderator of this blog. She moved to the Reno-Tahoe area specifically for the outdoor recreation opportunities. Her favorite sport is skiing, which she has chronicled here. When there isn’t snow on the slopes, you’ll find her hiking, mountain biking, camping, or running.
