$25 Million in Renovations at Grand Sierra Resort and Casino

It’s time to celebrate. The Grand Sierra Resort and Casino will unveil their $25 million in renovations, August 25, at the BE GRAND party. Guest will notice the new look right when they step into the main entrance; featuring, the original chandelier from the MGM Hotel and Casino, lounge-style seating, and five LCD, flat-screen televisions, highlighting a number of Reno Tahoe adventures visitors can explore just outside their walls.

From the pool to the casino floor, it’s the don’t-miss party of the summer. How so? For starters, there’s a $1,000,000 Grand Millionaire Giveaway.

UPGRADES

The lobby area has upgraded carpet, and brand new check-in counters, decked out in Sierra Rubbed Bronze, Elliptical Rubbed Bronze, and Sierra Brushed Aluminum laminates.

6863947268_2f209666ca_zAnother noticeable change, WET, is Reno’s new premier ultra-lounge and bar, located right at the heart of the casino floor.  Flair bartenders mix up some of the Biggest Little City’s most intricate and exquisite cocktails, while live music, ranging from DJs to cover bands, fills the air.

Finally, Reno’s tequila market just got hotter with the opening of Cantina and it’s exclusive selection of over 115 tequilas.  From Justin Timberlake’s 901 to Cabo Wabo Reposado, the Mexican small plate cuisine restaurant provides an authentic and exclusive experience that’s unique to the Northern Nevada area.

Still to come for the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino, include improvements to some of the on-site amenities including the convention center, health club and spa, Xtreme, and Lucky’s Sports Book.  For now, the Grand Sierra welcomes you to check out our work-in-progress by stopping in for a fine steak at the best steak restaurant in Reno, a round of bowling at our 24-hour bowling alley, or an upcoming concert at the Grand Theatre.
